Chrome: Google Image Search is a pretty great way to find the right GIF when you need it, but the results don’t actually animate unless you select each GIF at once. The GoogleGIFs Chrome extensions fixes this.
The extension automatically loads all the GIFs on Google image results pages. This can help identify which images are animated, or preview what a GIF looks like without any extra effort. GoogleGIFs isn’t available on the Chrome Store, so in order to install it, follow these steps:
- Head to the GoogleGIF’s Github page here.
- At the bottom of the page, download the extension.
- Open
chrome://extensions
in a new tab. - Drag the GoogleGIFs download onto the extensions page.
